HARMONY IN DIVERSITY: THE CONGREGATION'S UNDERSTANDING OF THE PRESENCE OF THREE IMAMS IN BELANG-BELANG MOSQUE

This research originates from the discourse of the sociology of religion and Islamic studies, which highlight the dynamics of religiosity in the context of fiqh diversity and worship practices in Indonesia. The phenomenon of three imams at Belang-Belang Mosque is interesting to examine because it reflects tolerance and moderation in the religious life of the community. The purpose of this study is to understand the congregation's meaning of the presence of three imams and to find solutions to maintain social-religious harmony amidst differences. This study uses a phenomenological qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation techniques. Analysis is conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The research results show that the presence of three imams does not cause division, but becomes a symbol of harmony in diversity. The congregation is able to manage differences in fiqh views through the values of ukhuwah islamiyah (brotherhood) and tasamuh (tolerance). This phenomenon demonstrates the practical application of Islamic Nusantara that balances individual piety with social harmony. Theoretically, this research contributes to strengthening the concept of religious moderation in Islamic sociology. Practically, the results can serve as a model for managing congregational harmony amid differences in schools of thought and worship traditions.

Researchers deliberately chose to examine this issue to find out what is the root of the problem, why the Regent election in Enrekang Regency this year is very heated, and, in addition, researchers also want to know more deeply what the impact of political polarisation is and how to
deal with it after the election takes place. The research method used in this research is research with a qualitative approach. The results of this study found that the root cause of why this year's regent
election was so heated was that there were two pairs of candidates who were close relatives. The effects and impacts of political polarisation can create social fragmentation, disrupt daily life, decrease community credibility and have an impact on government. This study aims to examine the strategies of religious and traditional leaders in maintaining harmonious relations between Muslims and Christians in Guliling Village. Religious diversity living side by side at the local level requires a contextual approach so that potential conflicts can be avoided and social harmony is maintained. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design to gain an in-depth understanding of the social practices that shape interfaith harmony. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with religious leaders, traditional leaders, and the community, accompanied by direct observation and review of supporting documents. The results of the study show that harmony in Guliling Village develops through a process involving local cultural values, social closeness, and the example set by community leaders. social relations. This study contributes to the development Religious figures play a role in instilling values of tolerance and mutual respect through religious guidance, while customary leaders strengthen social harmony by preserving local wisdom that emphasizes interfaith brotherhood. Tolerance is manifested in everyday practices, such as respecting the implementation of worship, observing dietary boundaries, and participating in joint social activities. These findings affirm that harmony among religious communities is stronger when built through cultural approaches and sustainable of studies on interfaith harmony based on local wisdom in multicultural societies.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EARLY MARRIAGE AND DROPPING OUT OF SCHOOL AMONG ADOLESCENT GIRLS IN BEBANGA VILLAGE

Marriage is a bond of body and soul aimed at forming a sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah family, but social reality shows a high rate of early marriages that deviate from the ideal age limits according to Law No. 16 of 2019 and psychological perspectives. This study aims to explore the causes and impacts of early marriage, particularly those occurring in Bebanga Village, Kalukku District. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation and interviews with community leaders and educators. The results of the study indicate that early marriage is triggered by various complex factors, including economic limitations, low education levels, local customary traditions, as well as married by accident (MBA) factors due to unsupervised free association by parents. Field findings indicate that the normalization of interactions between the opposite sexes and the lack of parental understanding of long-term impacts are the main causes of the increase in marriage rates each year. Early marriage has significant impacts on women's reproductive health risks, an increase in school dropouts, and mental unpreparedness in taking on household responsibilities. As a solution, this study emphasizes the importance of intensive education for parents regarding child-rearing according to religious law and strengthening oversight of adolescent interactions to minimize future legal and social consequences. Through this research, it is hoped that society can be wiser in understanding the essence of marriage as a long-term act of worship that requires both physical and psychological maturity.

THE IMPORTANCE OF MAPPANDE MANUQ AS PRE-MARITAL SUPPORT IN MANDAR COMMUNITY MARRIAGES FROM AN ISLAMIC LAW PERSPECTIVE

This study aims to examine the urgency of Mappande manuq as a premarital practice in Mandar custom and analyze its position from an Islamic law perspective, in order to provide a comprehensive understanding of the limits of custom in the implementation of marriage. This study is field research with a qualitative approach. The primary data sources in this study are the community in Beru-beru Village, Kalukku District, Mamuju Regency, while the secondary data sources are books, journals, and articles related to this study. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation and interviews. From the results of the study, there are two main points to be discussed, namely the concept of nafkah in Islam and the concept and urgency of Mappande manuq as pre-marital nafkah. The results of this study are expected to contribute to a better understanding of the urgency of Mappande manuq as pre-marital nafkah in Mandar marriages, especially from the perspective of Islamic law.

Early marriage is a social problem that still frequently occurs in Indonesia and causes various negative impacts on health, psychological well-being, education, and social life. This phenomenon is generally influenced by low educational levels, economic conditions, cultural factors, and a lack of understanding of Islamic teachings that emphasize physical and mental readiness for marriage. Islamic Religious Education plays a strategic role in shaping the moral and spiritual awareness of adolescents so that they are able to make wise decisions regarding marriage. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education in preventing early marriage, identify prevention strategies implemented through Islamic Religious Education, and examine the supporting and inhibiting factors in its application. This research employs a library research method with a qualitative descriptive approach by analyzing books, scientific journals, and relevant documents. The findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education is essential in instilling values of responsibility, patience, self-control, and understanding the purpose and responsibilities of marriage in Islam. Therefore, strengthening Islamic Religious Education through formal, non-formal, and informal channels can serve as an effective effort to prevent early marriage and to develop a faithful, moral, and responsible young generation.

THE IMPACT OF LOCAL LANGUAGE USAGE ON STUDENTS' PROFICIENCY IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE AT SDN 3 BAROKO ENREKANG REGENCY

This study aims to analyze the impact of using local languages on students' proficiency in the Indonesian language at SDN 3 Baroko, Baroko Subdistrict, Enrekang Regency. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research involves students from grades IV, V, and VI, along with teachers and parents. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews to explore patterns of local language use and its influence on Indonesian language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The findings indicate that using local languages positively impacts students by facilitating understanding during early learning stages, boosting confidence, and strengthening local cultural identity. However, negative effects were also observed, such as difficulties in mastering formal Indonesian terms, which affect academic performance and examination results. Proposed solutions include increasing the intensity of Indonesian language use in schools, training teachers in bilingual teaching strategies, utilizing Indonesian-based learning media, and implementing literacy programs. Collaboration between teachers and parents is also crucial to reinforce Indonesian language skills at home. With a balanced strategy, local language preservation can be achieved without hindering the mastery of Indonesian as the official language of national education.
